Landslide prevention and stabilization of slopes in the most earthquake affected districts of Nepal

To support in the landslide treatment and mitigation process and develop a holistic package in the landslide treatment and mitigation especially in the earthquake affected areas. The project will apply a short-term response and medium-term rehabilitation and resilience strategy. In particular it will promote watershed management as a holistic approach in disaster risk management and the creation of long-term resilience as it provides a framework for integrating different land-use types and livelihood systems (e.g. forestry, pasture and agriculture).
