2018-19 Alumni ODA Funding
Alumni funding provides posts with catalytic funding to grow a global alumni community that actively engages and promotes Australia and advances our national interests. Meaningful engagement with our global alumni contributes to Australia’s national interest by strengthening our support to development leaders in key areas of national interest such as infrastructure, gender, health, education, economics and science. Posts can leverage the access and reach of Australia’s diplomatic network to connect alumni to each other and to Australia to share information, knowledge and resources, mobilise engagement with alumni through events, professional development, business research and opportunities and to celebrate the achievements and ongoing two-way linkages between alumni and Australia. Each Posts gets an allocation and often this is the Post’s only funding available for alumni activities.
